Men with Pointy Teeth

"Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast."
Sometimes we believe such impossible things.
Here were my six impossibles for the day:

1. I believed that I could get all of my packing done for tomorrow. Impossible. Instead, I went shopping and baked a cheesecake and watched Tangled with Nicole. Talk about a very fun, yet so wholly unproductive day.

This isn't the cheesecake I made today. I made this one a couple weeks ago right after I got home from Upward Bound. So delicious! Today I made a Cocoa Cheesecake. Also wonderful. Next time I think I'm going to make a ... ready for this? ... frozen mocha cheesecake! Could cheesecake sound any more wonderful!? Oh my goodness. Frozen. Mocha. Cheesecake.

2. I believed (over the last two weeks) that laundry, if you leave it long enough to do more fun things, will clean itself. It doesn't. You just end up with more laundry than you know what to do with. In this instance, card making took priority over laundry.

3. If you believe hard enough, Buffalo will have a sunny day. Or not.

4. If you're reading a book, no one will bother you. Impossible.

But seriously, if you haven't read David Copperfield and you aren't afraid to tackle 900 pages, go read it right now. It is definitely worth your time.

5. Cactus plants are invincible. Probably untrue and impossible, but really, mine are! The wind has knocked them down twice this week and they're still going strong. Oh! And I finally named them, with a little help from Nicole. Meet Wilbur and Edna, respectively. The most cactusy names ever created.

6. Men have pointy teeth. Thank you Mother Gothel.

And that concludes my last real summer vacation. I can't believe it. Next summer I'll hopefully be working and in grad school... scary! Eesh.

P.S. If you didn't understand the blog title, go watch Tangled.
