Three things to share.

Just So You Know

I have a very talented sister.

She knits.

And I don't mean she makes a scarf once in a while with multi-colored string.

She really knits.

Here's a peak at what my life has been the last few weeks. And a possible explanation of why I've been so silent on here.

The perks of working at Starbucks? Free drinks on work days. Any drink. Oh yes.

Family game night. Take a stab at which family member the J represents. Yep.

Oh. And I finally own the Hunger Games. All three of them. You can probably guess where my free time has gone... :) I have a couple days off now, though, so I should be able to surface from my grad homework, latte making, Hunger Games world to actually post something worthwhile! Stick with me just a little longer!

Getting There

I am down to FIVE spreads before I'm completely caught up.

Now, that's probably not very exciting to most of you, but I am forever and always behind on my scrapbooking, and to have just five spreads from my junior year of college left... well, that's pretty stinking impressive for me. Of course, I haven't even printed the pictures from senior year, but I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

This is so exciting to me, you can't even imagine. Only FIVE left now. Oh goodness!

And the other exciting thing about this monumental page? I experimented just a smidge and printed onto my cardstock. You can't really see it in this picture because my camera is so crummy, but I love the result. Printers make things so much cleaner.

Latte, latte

Starbucks made me work for six days in a row and then gave me five off. It's messing with my will to do anything productive. Seriously. I'm almost thankful I have to go back in on Wednesday. Now, if only I could make a decent latte. Or remember how to make the sixty million different drinks they have. Hah! It'll come.

The only reason I'm blogging is because I just have have to share my graduation present! Daddy made it just for me. I got to pick out all the pieces and he put them all together. And it's just wonderful wonderful wonderful!!

It's not the most beautiful picture in the world, but isn't my crafting desk perfect!? I love it so much and I'm keeping it forever. All I need to do is buy a fun bar stool to sit on and put the handles on the drawers. Now I have a whole corner of my room to make a huge mess in!
